Restaurant Description
It was 1974 when Petite Auberge, nestled away in a corner of Toco Hill Center, first opened its doors. Opening Petite Auberge fulfilled a life long dream of the Gropp Family to own and operate a fine dining restaurant. The question everyone asks, of course, is Why did the Gropp family with German origins open a French restaurant? The answer simply is that the French, through Esscoffier, transformed the art of regional cooking into an organized international discipline.
The French art of Fine Dining blossomed into world wide acclaim. For hundreds of years, restaurants around the world that presented classical cuisine were French. After all, who ever heard of a German fine dining restaurant in 1974?
The present finds Petite Auberge still tucked away in a corner of Toco Hills Center and still serving classical cuisine. Although throughout the years our menus have changed to include fresh seafood, German cuisine, and other modernizations, the basic classical French Continental menu is still the same.
Good things never change.
For over 30 years, Petite Auberge has served fine French cuisine and Continental classics to a discriminating Atlanta clientele. Nestled away in a quiet corner of the Toco Hill Center, this original Atlanta French restaurant keeps its guests coming back with such distinctive favorites as Beef Wellington, Coq au Vin, Rack of Lamb and many more.

Excellent food! Everything I've tried has been delicious. Very cozy atmosphere & beautifully decorated. Service was a tad slow, but the waiter was funny and witty enough to make up for it. We were even given coupons for our next visit.
