Can you keep a secret?
I hate writing reviews because when I do,the place becomes too popular, big lines start forming and I have to start making reservations, wait in line, etc. I like Tradicao as a neighborhood Gem that no one knows about it yet. To me Tradicao is more laid back than other Brazilian Steakhouses that I have been to.I can enjoy the meal with my hubby, sip on some wine, relax and talk. I love the Baby Beef"Top sirloin" it's tender, juicy and if they are not very busy they will cook it the way I like it. Their wine list is pretty impressive, their desserts are delicious. I usually ask for the real Brazilian items like wine, beer(Xingu),lemonade( a little sweet but my grandkids love it),desserts ( Papaya cream, flan...),mixed drink ( caipirinha), etc.

Tradicao Brazilian Steakhouse just opened around the corner from my house. They took over one of my preferred restaurants so I was a little apprehensive when I walked in not knowing what to expect. The setting was similar or actually better than before. They changed some colors and removed some walls. It looked more open than before creating the illusion of being bigger than before. We sat down and they gave us the run down of their menu. They told us that me and my husband had to pay full price,my 5 year old was free ( that beats any children menu price),my 8 year old had a special price. No matter what we all would be able to eat all we wanted. Their website says they have 14 meats but I was getting kind of full by the time the 8th piece came by. My husband on the other hand seemed like the Energizer Bunny, kept going, going...We all had a good time, the place was pretty full, so I recommend reservations to make sure you get a spot on a busy night. We ended up the evening with a couple of desserts that we shared among all of us. What surprised me was the all you can eat for one reasonable price. It sure beats some of the other steakhouses in the area where we have to pay the same or more to eat a small piece of Filet Mignon where at Tradicao I can eat several. In all a fine evening in one of the nicest restaurant in the Sugar Land area. Good service, good prices, good food, should make this new place a winner.
